Without a doubt, “The Twilight Saga” is one of the biggest film franchises to come out in recent years. Last night at the MTV Movie Awards 2012, fans helped the latest installment take home the Movie of the Year award.

They say the Twi-hards are the most loyal and passionate fans out there. Obviously, the stars of the franchise know this only too well.

Kristen Stewart, Taylor Lautner and other cast members and staff walked on stage at the awards show to accept the Movie of the Year golden popcorn statuette.

Stewart, for one, made sure that all Twilight fans knew where she stood on leaving the franchise, as the video below will confirm: she's not happy about it.

“Thank you so much, you guys, I know I always say the same thing. I've been promoting 'Snow White,' and I get asked a lot of questions, especially about 'Twilight,' which I love,” she said.

“The most common is, like, 'God, you must be so happy to get away from it. You must be so happy to distance yourself from it as far away as you possibly can.' And I'm like, 'Shut up! What are you talking about?' I know we've been here for a while, so really, thank you very much,” Kristen added.

Taylor Lautner also had a few things to say – so check out the vid.
