The fans have spoken: the best movie for the MTV generation of 2010 is “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse,” which, during last night’s MTV Movie Awards 2011 ceremony took home no less than five awards, including the one in the Best Movie category.

Nevertheless, though this is the most-coveted award at every awards show, “Eclipse” cleaned up other categories as well, as the full list of winners below will confirm.

Proving that there’s no end in sight for “Twilight” just yet because, despite what critics may say, it remains a fan favorite, the third installment in the vampire saga also won for Best Male Performance, Best Female Performance, Best Fight and, of course, Best Kiss.

Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner, the three main stars of the franchise, were all on hand to take home their respective awards, much to the delight of fans, who have been waiting for this moment for months in a row.

Another big winner of the night was Chloe Grace Moretz, who wowed many with her performance (and filthy mouth) in last year’s box office hit “Kick-Ass,” in which she played the unlikeliest of superheroes.

She took home two awards, for Best Breakout Star and best action star.

Emma Stone also scooped up one award for her role in the critically acclaimed and commercially successful comedy “Easy A,” for, of course, Best Comedic Performance.

Tom Felton won Best Villain for his role in “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1,” while Justin Bieber won the Performance Spectacular award for his documentary “Justin Bieber: Never Say Never.”

Not only did the 3D documentary turn out to be a hit with Bieber’s fans – which was to be expected, after all – but it was also very well received by critics.

In fact, we may hear more of it, since it’s been generating some Oscar talk since release, as we also informed you a while back.
