MTV Movie Awards 2011: Robert Pattinson, Kristen Stewart Kiss, Flirt, Hold Hands

They’re usually very shy of their romance, but this year’s MTV Movie Awards was an exception for “Twilight” couple Robert Pattinson – Kristen Stewart. When the cameras were not rolling at the fancy event, they could hardly keep their hands off each other, says a new report.

As we also noted yesterday, the two stars did pose for a few photos together and they certainly seemed more comfortable with each other, but they did not allow the camera to snap them as a couple – except for one brief instant, when they didn’t know they were being filmed.

E! Online says that, as per eyewitnesses, Robert and Kristen were officially in “couple mode” for the event – they just didn’t want the cameras to see them.

Throughout the entire awards show and at the after-party, the two kissed, flirted, held hands and constantly giggled, leaving no room for doubt as to their relationship.

What’s more, they seemed very comfortable with going public like this, even if they hid from the cameras.

“Rob and Kristen kept walking away from the crowds to have private moments with each other,” an unnamed eyewitness tells E!.

“Kristen was showing Rob something on her cell phone and the two were laughing about it. He couldn’t keep his hands off her, and she was smiling the entire time. They were definitely enjoying themselves at the party,” the spy adds.

The two also used every opportunity they got to be together, whether it was a commercial break or the few moments when they knew no camera was on them.

Understandably, they could truly be themselves at the after-party, where the media had no access.

“Rob and Kristen seemed really comfortable with each other and with showing their affection in public,” the insider says.

“At one point, they sat down at a table with Emma Stone and her friends and kept playfully touching each other and stealing quick kisses throughout the convo. Both were in great spirits,” the eyewitness claims.
