MTV Movie Awards 2011: Jason Sudeikis poked fun at Selena Gomez for dating Justin Bieber

As if getting heat from Justin Bieber’s fans wasn’t enough, Selena Gomez also has to deal with Jason Sudeikis’ jokes. At the MTV Movie Awards 2011, the host for the evening embarrassed Selena with a very direct joke.

While Justin only made a brief appearance at the awards show to scoop up his golden popcorn statuette for Best Jaw-Dropping Moment for his documentary “Never Say Never 3D,” Selena was present at the entire ceremony.

Since her and Justin’s romance is the talk of the town right now, especially after a series of shots of them on vacation in Hawaii emerged online, a few jokes at their expense were to be expected.

Somehow, they still took Selena by surprise, as the video below will confirm: throughout the entire joke, she held her hand to her face, shielding it from the camera.

Sudeikis told a clearly embarrassed Selena to take more care with “that Bieber kid” because, by his calculations she “had already swallowed three of his baby teeth.”

He was obviously referring to the photos that appeared online last week, with Selena and Justin kissing on the beach.

The Disney star wasn’t the host’s only target, though, because Arnold Schwarzenegger’s name also came up a few times throughout the evening.

Sudeikis started off by congratulating the audience members in the first balcony, saying it was the first time in MTV’s history that all its occupants were fathered by the former Governor of California.

“I was surprised to find so many kids this year – not as surprised as Maria Shriver though,” he added later, in another direct dig at the cheating and paternity scandal that ripped Arnold’s marriage apart.

“You should check out [Arnold’s] next movie – Pumping the Ironer,” Jason said later on, in reference to Arnold’s movie “Pumping Iron.”

However, it was Sudeikis’ Selena diss that got him the most attention: in fact “poor Selena” is trending right now on Twitter, with many fans arguing that she shouldn’t have been targeted like that.
