
After a two year absence from the music scene, the three components of Dixie Chicks will be performing in London at the Shepherds Bush Empire. As to their contractual agreement, MSN, Dixie Chicks' new found fan will also be present at the venture although not just as an active participant that will webcast the girls' concert.
The publicity stunt comes amid a week of promotional activities surrounding the European launch of Dixie Chicks' new album "Taking the Long Way" which debuted at number one in Billboard 200 albums chart an will present a preview of what is to follow in the girls' North American tour: "Accidents and Accusations".

In May 2006, the Dixie Chicks' members signed a two year agreement with MSN that will allow the site to offer its users access to articles, backstage interviews and video shoots from the girls' North-American tour and the possibility to stream tracks from their new album. MSN brings to the stage its 465 million users each month and its global presence on 42 different markets and in 21 languages.
The performance will be broadcast Thursday at 10:00 p.m., London time.
