MSI has just announced that it has added to its product portfolio three new graphics cards based on the Radeon HD 6770 and HD 6750 GPUs and all of these new models support the company's own Afterburner overclocking software with the Predator video capture function.

MSI's R6700 graphics cards are equipped with an in-house developed cooling system that features an 8cm PWM controlled fan, to provide improved airflow for better heat dissipation, as well as Military Class II components.

In addition, the top of the line R6770-MD1GD5 also packs Super Ferrite Chokes (SFC), which MSI states can increase the GPU current flow by up to 30%.

Spec wise, MSI's Radeon HD 6770 features the same 800 stream processors, 40 texture units, 16 ROP units, and 128-bit memory interface as the rest of the HD 6770 solution available out there, but its core is set 50MHz lower as it operates at just 800MHz.

The 1GB of GDDR5 memory is also underclocked as it works as 4400MHz compared with the standard 4800MHz.

Moving to the two Radeon HD 6750 graphics cards in MSI's arsenal, these follow AMD's specifications to the letter and come with either 512MB or 1GB of video buffer clocked at 1150MHz (4600MHz effective) and a 700MHz core.

The GPU packs 720 stream processors, 36 texture units, 16 ROP units, and a 128-bit memory interface.

All the cards feature the same rear video outputs, including dual-link DVI, D-Sub and an HDMI 1.4a port.

This is also one of the main features that the Radeon HD 6700 series brings over the older Juniper models (together with support for Blu-Ray 3D’s MVC profiles), as, otherwise, the cards are identical.

Pricing hasn't been disclosed, but AMD stated that the Radeon HD 6700-series solutions should retail for about the same price as their Juniper counterparts.
