MSI seems to want to repeat last year's CES performance, when it was chosen as one of the Top 10 Gadgets. The company's lineup for this year's edition is quite large, varied and boasts products that outperform their predecessors by as much as 30%. The company will be showcasing its newest netbooks and laptops from the G, GE, C and X-Slim lines.
The product lines will be the “fruits of MSI's labors” after it has “striven” to “insist on the best” when researching and developing new products. The company will be displaying 3D netbooks, G-series gaming laptops based on Intel's Arrandale processor, GE-Series products with the cutting-edge Color Film Print technology and elegant C-series notebooks built with Core i5 chips. MSI will also be demonstrating new models from the popular X-Slim line of ultrathin laptops, the Wind U-series of slim notebooks and even new, all-in-one systems from the Wind Top line.
“MSI NB Marketing Director Sam Chern points out that MSI’s new product series are not only innovative, they represent the company's strongest array of computer products ever. They include the Wind U160 netbook and the X-Slim X620 ultra-slim NB which just last month received Germany's iF Product Design Award for 2010—the design world’s equivalent of an Oscar. Other products include the G-Series, the planet's most powerful gaming machines, the ultra-light X-Slim X360, the first NB in the world to feature Intel's trailblazing Arrandale ULV processors, and the classic Wind U135. Chen emphasized that the U135 is the world’s first netbook equipped with the new generation Pine Trail platform to be WiMAX Forum certified,” the
press release noted.
The AIO (all-in-one) computer family that MSI will have on display includes models, such as the 24-inch AE2400, which possess the latest multi-point touch control screen and run the Windows 7 Operating System. These computers will be able to deliver “superb multimedia capabilities” such as world-class cinema sound. These features will be elaborated upon by the hardware maker through its onsite display area.
The exhibition will last, obviously, from January 7 (tomorrow) to January 10. MSI will also introduce some concept computer products focused on environmental friendliness.
