Earlier today we reported on recent details according to which Taiwanese notebook and netbook manufacturer, MSI, has raised its laptop expectations by as much as 1 million units, which the company hopes to ship until the end of the year. The change came just after the company recently announced that its Wind netbook had been performing much better than previously expected, which was why the manufacturer raised its netbook shipment expectations to 600.000 - 700.000 units by the end of the year.

On that note, MSI's newly-announced Wind U120 netbook, or Wind 2, has recently been spotted in the wild, as reported by  Chinese Engadget website. Unlike the Wind 100, MSI's second-generation Atom-powered, low-cost, ultra-portable computer system has been designed for business users requiring a small and lightweight portable PC that has Internet access and can provide the basics in computing experience.

There are only a few differences between the company's initial netbook model, the Wind U100, and the upcoming U120, as both systems are based on the same Intel platform, which has been featured on almost every other netbook system launched after ASUS' Eee PC. The Wind 2 does provide a unique black and white design, but, other than that, you will still get the same Atom processor coupled with 1GB of DDR2 memory and running on a Windows XP operating system.

It is yet unclear when MSI will unveil its new netbook, but recent reports indicate that, by the end of December, users might see the U120 in stores. Price-wise, the Wind 2 should cost roughly the same as the standard model, although extra features such as integrated 3G module could raise the price of the netbook.

In other related news, another one of MSI's yet to be made available products has recently surfaced in Taiwan. Three models of the company's all-in-one Neton PC will come to compete with ASUS' recently introduced Eee Top.
