MSI has just announced that its Wind Top all-in-one computer series will soon get the addition of a new model, the Wind Top AE2071, which the company says it was specifically designed for casual computer users.

The central point of the new MSI all-in-one system is its 20-inch screen that features multi-touch capabilities and has a resolution of 1600x900 pixels.

A higher resolution panel isn’t available, but users do have the option of choosing between various Intel Sandy Bridge processors ranging from the Pentium G620 and G630 to the Core i3-2130.

The fast Intel CPUs are paired together with 2GB system memory (upgradeable up to 8GB), while storage is provided by a 500GB hard drive with a spindle speed of 7200RPM.

As far as graphics is concerned, MSI has decided to go with just the built-in GPU found inside Intel’s Sandy Bridge processors, so while the Wind Top AE2071 will definitely be able to playback Full HD video, gaming is pretty much out of the question.

The rest of the configurations list includes an optional TV tuner (DVB-T) which will be installed in an empty mini PCI Express slot, Gigabit Ethernet networking, 802.11 b/g/n wireless, a multi-format card reader, a 0.3MP webcam, a pair of 3W speakers with SRS Premium Sound and a DVD burner.

Users also have the option of swapping this optical drive for a Blu-ray combo unit, while on the connectivity side we get a pair of USB 3.0 ports, an HDMI output, four standard USB 2.0 ports and the usual mic and headphone jacks.

No information regarding pricing or availability was made public by MSI, but given the entry-level specs of the Wind Top AE2071 we expect this to be one of the cheapest Sandy Bridge AIOs around.
