Micro-Star International has a history of unleashing various systems of all kinds, and its latest offering is one that comes in a variety of configurations while still providing a wide range of features and capabilities. It is known as the Wind top AE2280 and is an all-in-one computer that stands out from the crowd through two main features. One is related to input, whereas the other confers a very high audio quality upon the device.

The computer is based on an Intel Core i3 or Core i5 central processing unit and has ATI Radeon HD Series graphics. The product also features a 21.5-inch, 16:9 cinematic widescreen display with Full HD resolution. Basically, it can handle each and every sort of multimedia task. It is in this that one of the aforementioned two major assets comes in handy. What MSI did was implement Hollywood-standard THX TruStudio Pro audio capabilities, which significantly enhance the experience over standard solutions..

The other major feature that consumers will enjoy is multi-touch input which, under Windows 7, is extremely intuitive, precise and easy to use for both simple tasks, such as enlarging photographs and writing text in various languages, but also for more sophisticated things, such as professional photography editing. Finally, MSI threw in the YouCam, YouPaint and YouMemo software tools, which create visual effects, allow for painting through touch and create notes and memos, respectively. The AiO is highly configurable and has a starting price of $949.99.

“The Wind Top AE2280 brings the ultimate in Hollywood-caliber video and audio technology to the desktop,” said Andy Tung, vice president of sales, MSI Computer. “It packages the perfect combination of processing power, stunning graphics, HD video, and powerful, crystal-clear audio in a sleek, modern and energy-efficient design. As both a multimedia and home entertainment system, the newest Wind Top sets a new standard for the level of power, functionality and ease-of-use available in All-in-One PCs.”
