Another series of AM2 motherboards was launched today by one of the leaders in this domain - MSI. The manufacturer announced that its latest motherboards are a result of long time collaboration between the company, AMD and Patriot Memory in order to deliver the best next generation platform.

MSI displayed the latest AM2 motherboards during the global launch event which took place in Taiwan.
The innovative motherboards are operated by the new Socket AM2 AMD Athlon 64 processors with DDR2-1000 memories to deliver the best performance and computing, creating another era of DDR2 on AMD platform.

MSI also announced a new, recently developed technology - the "Dual CoreCell", which is different from the current one, as it focuses on several performances such as Performance Precision, Silent Precision, Image Precision, and Sound Precision, delivering an advanced operating environment.

Furthermore, MSI has collaborated with Patriot Memory, a well-known American memory manufacturer, in order to bring the best overclocking platform. All of the AM2 demo systems are set up with Patriot DDR2-1000 overclock memory modules to show the highest performance.

Yesterday, Elitegroup Computer Systems, Inc. (ECS), also a leading motherboard manufacturer, has released its new product - KA3 MVP, an ATX motherboard supporting the new socket AM2 processors as well as dual, full-bandwidth PCI-Express x16 slots for graphics cards through its ATI CrossFire Xpress 3200 chipset (RD580).

The technology mixture of the KA3 MVP is meant especially for professional gamers and high tech enthusiasts who require great performance for stunning 3D graphics plus stability for extreme overclocking.

The KA3 MVP supports all versions of the Athlon FX, Athlon 64 X2 Dual-Core, Athlon 64 and Sempron CPUs (each of them are socket AM2), as well as the new AM2 Energy Efficient microprocessors. AMD's latest series of low power processors provide 35W and 65W versions of AM2 processors for increased energy savings.
