This has truly been a week of product releases on the part of Micro Star International, as the Taiwanese company announced a couple of new products, including the latest Wind Nettop CS120, which has just been announced in the US. The new product joins the latest releases from MSI, including the value-series VX600 and VR430 laptops. The Wind Nettop CS120 has already been showcased at the company's booth at CeBIT in Hanover, Germany, but was known as the CD130. As you might expect from a Wind nettop, the recent CS120 also incorporates Intel's Atom platform.

The system is packed with a 1.6GHz Atom 230 processor and combined with the already famous GMA950 graphics. It can support up to 2GB of RAM memory, a 160GB hard disk drive, WiFi, one CF card slot and a more interesting choice for an optical drive with a slot-loading DVD burner. In addition to that, the nettop is featured with CF card slot, 6 USB 2.0 ports (2 in front and 4 at the back), one VGA port, 6 audio jacks with support for 7.1-channel HD audio and the familiar and aging Microsoft Windows XP Home operating system.

As far as pricing and availability are concerned, the new MSI nettop system is already available at different online outlets, including newegg, where you will find it listed at $299.99.

In other news, MSI has just announced that it will continue to provide some of its high-end motherboards with a separate Creative X-Fi audio solution, delivering a high-quality audio experience. Based on the X-Fi technology, the Xtreme Audio Card will be available for the following motherboards: Eclipse Plus, Eclipse SLI, P45 Diamond, P35 Diamond, P7N2 Diamond, P7N Diamond, X38 Diamond and the AMD-based K9N2 Diamond. Users purchasing one of these boards will take advantage of a hardware-based high-end audio solution built on Creative's X-Fi technology.
