It appears that NVIDIA's newest mobile graphics adapter is proving to be quite the appealing piece, to some companies at least, MSI having actually already created a laptop that utilizes it.
With all the movement stirred by the 2011 edition of the Computex trade show, it would have been odd if NVIDIA hadn't done anything to try and stand out.
Turns out that the Santa Clara, California-based GPU maker definitely did not slack off, having brought forth its newest mobile graphics solution.
Said product is the GeForce GTX 560M and is a fairly powerful invention that we covered in detail
here.
Considering that it was just now released, one would think that the adapter wouldn't so quickly turn up in machines, but that assumption would be false.
Apparently, Micro-Star International is anything but slow, having added the newcomer to the GT683 notebook.
More specifically, the GT683 is a 15.6-inch G-Series gaming laptop powered by the second generation of Intel Core CPUs, in this case the Core i7-2630QM (2.0 GHz base clock speed).
8 GB of RAM (random access memory) back up said chip, while a pair of hard disk drives of 640 GB each are set up in RAID 0 (their platter rotary speed is of 7,200 RPM).
What's more, the mobile personal computer has two USB 3.0 ports, Gigabit Ethernet, a 2 megapixel webcam, Dynaudio speakers (two), a 4-in-1 card reader and HDMI.
All the above are packed inside a LED-equipped frame, along with a Full HD display (1,920 x 1,080 pixels), leading to a weight of 3.5 kilograms and the need for a 9-cell battery that can last for up to 3 hours.
All in all, the new G-series notebook looks a lot like its predecessors but has the new video as the provider of not just graphics prowess, bu also the freshness factor that users always look for.
