MSI has recently added a new model to its mobile machine lineup, the PR621 notebook, which is intended mainly for the business class, and in which the company packed a lot of features, such as a 15.4-inch display and a resolution of 1280 x 800. The machine is powered by the Intel Centrino2 with vPro Technology working on an Intel GM 45+ICH9M-E chipset and can support up to 4GB of memory. However, the best part about the notebook is the fact that, although it has a large screen size, its weight goes only to 5.73-pounds.

MSI PR621 features two audio speakers, a 4-in-1 memory card reader, Bluetooth, wireless LAN and fingerprint reader. The notebook also packs a good number of security features, such as an out-of-band (OOB) communication channel that is used for software remediation without interrupting the system use. There is hardware-based anti-virus protection included, the Execute Disable Bit, along with proactive protection that blocks off incoming threats before they can reach the OS. For more efficiency, a watchdog timer was added to check the running applications at regular intervals.

Business consumers can also make use of the enhanced business-applicable port replicator, meant to allow users to save time and space; it is perfectly convenient and offers a complete extension ports and cable managing service, which means that you can connect to it USB ports, LAN ports, line out, serial ports or PS2 ports. The notebook becomes more than suitable for business travelers by offering a complete range of business application interfaces, as well as a 1.3 megapixel webcam, full-sized keyboard, and an independent numeric keypad.

The MSI PR621 was designed to make users feel confident and secure at all times. It offers protection on both software and hardware levels and features new advances in remote maintenance that allow both diagnosis and repair jobs remotely, as well as deployment of software patches during off-hours when most of the systems are turned off.
