It would not do for the new Bulldozers to have no playgrounds

AMD's new 4- to 8-core FX central processors have been launched, something that Micro-Star International was quick to capitalize on.

Truth be told, any AM3+ motherboard supports the new chips (go here to read about the CPUs), provided they have their BIOS up to date.

Because it doesn't want its prospective customers to get bored while looking through product pages, checking BIOS info individually, MSI has compiled a list of Vishera-ready platforms.

There are five models based on the AMD 900 chipset, six that use the AMD 800 chipset and five powered by the AMD 700 logic.

All of them are found in the tables above. Those who already own one of the motherboards only need to flash the BIOS. Of course, those who order fresh mainboards will get the current software from the start.
