MSI India has just announced the availability of two low-cost Android tablets on the Indian market, the Enjoy 7 and Enjoy 10.

Both tablets will be available for purchase starting today for Rs. 13,999 (about $312) and Rs.14,999 (roughly $335), respectively.

As their names suggest, the Enjoy 7 comes with a 7-inch capacitive touch-screen (800 x 480 pixels resolution), whereas the Enjoy 10 features a slightly larger 10.1-inch (1024 x 768 pixels resolution) touch-screen display.

However, the rest of the hardware seems to be similar, which is one of the reasons that the tablets were priced so close to each other.

According to MSI, these are the first tablets of the Enjoy series and are aimed at budget customers, who cannot afford more expensive solutions.

Our products do not have some prominent features such as 3G and GPS because we do not see enough market for the same in a country like India currently which reduces the cost of the products to a great extent,” said Eric Kuo, MSI India general manager.

MSI Enjoy series tablets are powered by Android 2.3.3 Gingerbread platform and are each equipped with 1.2 GHz ARM Cortex A8 processors.

As we already mentioned, the tablets sport dual 2-megapixel cameras, Adobe Flash 10.1 support, ALS (ambient light sensor), G-Sensor (Accelerometer), E-Compass, Vibration, as well as GPS.

Enjoy' series has been designed keeping the ultimate end-user in mind, it offers productivity while on the go and provides more ways to have fun and connect with friends,” concluded Kuo added.

Furthermore, both Enjoy tablets pack 4GB of internal memory, 512 MB DDR3 RAM, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB), mini-USB, mini-HDMI, 3.5mm (2 in 1 headphone + microphone jack).

It is also worth mentioning that the Enjoy 10 weighs 795g (battery included), while the Enjoy 7 is much lighter at only 395g (battery included).
