Lots of new motherboards have come out, but MIS decided to launch one made for older chips, if AMD FX “Vishera” can be considered old.

The new MSI motherboard is called 760GMA-P34FX and has two DDR3 DIMM slots (up to 16 GB DDR3 RAM), a PCI Express 2.0 x16 slot, a PCIe 2.0 x1 slot and a legacy PCI slot too.

Also, there are six SATA II ports (3 Gbps), two SATA III (6 Gbps, from an ASMedia ASM1061 controller) and four USB 3.0 ports (two on rear panel).

Everything is powered by 24-pin ATX + 4-pin CPU power connectors, and held together by the AMD 760 chipset with SB710 southbridge.

6-channel HD audio, and Gigabit Ethernet are included too. Sadly, the (low) price of the MSI 760GMA-P34FX is unknown.
