MSI added a few moments ago a new gaming notebook to its product portfolio, dubbed the GE620DX, which is powered by a quad-core Intel processors paired together with an Nvidia discrete graphics card.

MSI's latest creation is built around a 15.6-inch screen with a resolution of just 1366x768 pixels and features a classy metal brush finish that adds a touch of style to this gaming machine.

Fortunately, the GE620DX has more than just good looks to show for itself, since the laptop is powered by a powerful quad-core Intel Core i7-2630QM Sandy Bridge processor, with a base clock speed of 2GHz and a maximum Turbo frequency of 2.9GHz.

The fast Intel processor can be paired together with as much as 8GB of system memory as well as with various 7200 and 5400 RPM hard drive models providing up to 750GB of storage capacity.

In addition, MSI has also installed inside the GE620DX an Nvidia GeForce GT 555M graphics card with Optimus support that is seconded by 2GB of memory buffer to provide users with powerful gaming performance.

The rest of the specifications list includes all the usual options, that we have come to expect from gaming notebooks, to which MSI has added USB 3.0 support, a HD webcam and four THX TruStudio Pro-enhanced speakers.

“MSI's superior Premium Sound and THX TruStudio Pro wrap around sound team up to offer you the perfect combination of sound and visuals for the ultimate multimedia experience,” said Eric Kuo, associate vice president for global sales at MSI Notebook.

“This gaming dream machine also boasts an exterior with awesome high tech lines. The letters "MSI" are emblazoned in the center of the GE620DX’ cover in luminescent white script which is set off by the metal brush finish.

“Not only is this machine a dream to play, it's a dream to look at, too,” concluded the company's rep.

MSI hasn't provided any information regarding the release date or the price tag of the GE620DX gaming notebook.
