MSI Gears Up for CeBIT, Reveals Next-Gen Graphics Notebooks in Swarovski Shells

Discrete graphics, turbo battery technology and high-definition video are the new promise from MSI

World's second largest IT event of the year, the upcoming CeBit Communication and Electronic Expo, will bring the enthusiasts new goodies from its participants. MSI is one of the event's big players and will
introduce new notebook models to offer ECO Energy-Saving, environmental awareness as well as the concept of beauty by design.

The company's gaming series will be represented during the show by the G-series of notebooks with the recently introduced Turbo Drive Engine Technology (TDET) that gives the system a significant speed boost. The company will introduce its GX600-08 notebook model that comes packed with yet another nifty feature, the Turbo Battery Technology (TBT). While in Turbo battery Mode, the notebook will automatically adjust the system's power consumption according to the current workload.

More fashionable computer users have also been taken into account: MSI will introduce new notebook designs that integrates beauty as a manufacturing concept. The company will introduce a new line of 14-inch notebooks, the PR400 Crystal Collection. The notebooks in the PR400 family are more than mere computing instruments as they are accessorized with 120 Swarovski crystals.

The PR400 Crystal Collection is especially designed for office workers that demand beauty and elegance or who need a product that is both professional as well as fashionable. The new crystal-decorated notebooks allow the individual to break free of the black or silver monotony, without being overly extravagant.

The P series of notebooks is especially tailored for business users and come in sizes as small as 12 inches. The light and thin notebooks are built with the idea of portability in mind, and may prove to be the perfect partner for the modern business person that need enhanced mobility. The company's new PX210 sub-notebook model will feature ATI's latest discrete GPU (rather than the standard UMA card) that will let the user enjoy a complete visual experience.

The E series of notebooks are addressed to notebook gaming fans and comes packed with top hardware to deliver a fully digital experience. More than that, the E notebooks are the first mobile systems to receive the recognition by Dolby in home surround sound. The new laprops will come with high-resolution built-in webcam, digital television and high definition graphic displays.
