14 DAY TRIAL // High-speed 3D computing solution provider, MSI has a new product that will certainly draw the attention of professionals working with demanding graphics software, in the form of the GT70 2OL 3D CAD & Modeling notebook.
According to the company, this is one of the highest-speed 3D laptops on the market today, blending accelerated computer graphics and optimized hardware.
The laptop comes bundling a set of top-notch configurations, including Intel’s 4th Gen Core i7 processor (Haswell), NVIDIA Quadro K4100M graphics card, Super RAID 2 and Cooler Boost 2.
As we said, the laptop has been designed for professionals working in fields like architecture or engineering, so the solution has been certified by the Autodesk and Solidworks. Furthermore, the laptop can be paired up to four external monitors, while users have a choice in the OS department, being able to choose between Windows 7 and Windows 8 Pro.
MSI takes a minute to highlight that the new embedded Quadro K4100M graphics have more CUDA cores, which translates into increased memory bandwidth, allowing professionals to add complex scenes and characters faster.
Quadro K4100M graphics has been chosen by MSI, to sustain complex software like Autodesk 3DS Max, Maya, Mudbox, Siemens NX, CATIA and 3D Showcase.
Having a laptop bundled with an effective configuration such as this will certainly prove useful for professionals that will now be able to take their work out of the office, with the outermost ease.
Another highlight of the laptop is the Super Raid 2 compatibility and one of the animators from Kent Animation explains:
