Well-known mainboard manufacturer, Taiwanese company MSI is also the maker of the world’s fastest gaming notebook, the famous GT70.

The company has a mid-range line of gaming laptops and the GE60 and GE70 models are getting a well-deserved Kepler upgrade.

The new GK107 GPU is known to our readers as the one powering the GT640 DDR3 video cards and the new GTX 650 GDDR5 graphics adapters.

In fact the new GTX660M inside the GE60 and GE70 laptops is basically a mobile implementation of the recently announced GTX 650 video card as it is a GK107 chip with GDDR5 memory at its disposal.

MSI’s GE and GE70 gaming laptops are powered by Intel’s Ivy Bridge processor and feature a nice dual storage system, composed of an mSATA SSD and a mobile 2.5” HDD.
