Taiwanese hardware and computer system maker MSI has just announced the expansion of its line of portable computer systems with the introduction of the new 16-inch Bravo EX628 notebook PC. Designed to provide users with a choice for an entertainment notebook, the new portable system has been equipped with some of the latest hardware solutions on the market, including the ATI Mobility Radeon HD 4670 GPU, one of the products that have been featured in a decent number of newly released portable PCs.

MSI's new 16-inch laptop has been built on the Intel PM45 and ICH9M platform, featuring support for the latest Intel Core 2 Duo processors. These processing units can be paired with the aforementioned Mobility Radeon HD 4670 GPU, delivering the boost of performance required by a multimedia-oriented laptop. The 16-inch display is capable of providing support for a 16:9 aspect ratio and an HD resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels.

Additional features include the support for up to 4GB of DDR2 memory, the high-capacity 320GB SATA hard drive, 3-in-1 media card reader, Gigabit LAN, wireless 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, D-Sub, eSATA and HDMI ports, integrated 2MP webcam and 2 speakers and one subwoofer. Coming as a complete alternative to other multimedia laptops on the market, the new system offers a choice between a DVD Super Multi and a Blu-ray optical drive. Users will also be offered the opportunity to choose between a 6-cell and a 9-cell battery pack.

Measuring just 374x246x26.8-35m and with a weight of approximately 2.7 kg, 6-pack battery pack included, the new MSI Bravo EX628 notebook looks ready to provide you with the necessary performance and specifications for a laptop in its category. Unfortunately, we have no details on the system's pricing and availability.
