This year's Consumer Electronics Show, held in Las Vegas, Nevada between the 7th and 10th of January, will be the place to set your eyes on a number of new technologies and devices that are to be either showcased or launched at the show. Such is the case with one of MSI's upcoming products, according to a report on the Internet. The Taiwanese company plans to demonstrate a new e-book reader and a 3D notebook, with the e-book reader slated to adopt NVIDIA's Tegra chip.

Although not much is known, at this time, the Taiwanese company is expected to showcase a new Tegra-based e-book reader, during CES 2010. The design, according to sources cited in a recent article at Digitimes, will include a dual-screen configuration. Aside from that, MSI is also expected to showcase a single-screen model, at the same show, which demonstrates the company's interest in the relatively new market of e-book readers.

In addition, the company is expected to showcase a new 3D laptop, according to the same report, which might adopt NVIDIA's 3D Vision technology. However, as it is with the said e-book readers, the technical specifications and features of the upcoming laptop are under wraps, at least for the next couple of days. The launch of the said notebook will enable MSI to enter a new market, where Acer and ASUS are already competing with their own solutions.

With Intel rolling out an entire line of new processors, for both desktop and the mobile segment, MSI is bound to showcase more systems, at the upcoming show. Such is the case for other PC vendors, some of which have already jumped at the opportunity of announcing their lineup for the 2010. Lenovo and Samsung are two of them, with the two having announced new ultraportable systems, based on Intel's latest hardware.
