Most tablets set to start selling in the first half of 2011 have already been previewed or outright launched at MWC 2011, but it seems Micro-Star International decided it wouldn't hurt to bring a particular model to CeBIT either.

CeBIT is one of those trade shows held every year where IT companies from around the world gather and release new and better products.

Unfortunately, there seems to be a visible shortage of news this time around, much like the first quarter of 2011, as a whole, wasn't all that rich in announcements.

That said, only during the periods around CES (Consumer Electronics Show) and the Mobile World Congress 2011 expo (MWC) did things pick (albeit for a rather short time), since tablets came out in arguably strong numbers.

Now, Micro-Star International is showing off some new slates at CeBIT, in Hannover, Germany, one of which is powered by NVIDIA's Tegra 2 platform.

The outfit was already found to have built a slate PC by using the AMD Fusion C-50 APU (accelerated processing unit). The product was known as Windpad 110.

The Tegra 2 slate, on the other hand, is known as the Windpad 100A and, like so many others released this quarter, is pre-loaded with the Android 3.0 operating system, otherwise known as Honeycomb.

As one would be able to guess, it has a 10.1-inch LCD (liquid crystal display) whose resolution, sadly, was not made specific.

In fact, save for the MSI Wind Touch interface, the Easy Face (log-in) and Easy Viewer (photo browsing) features, nothing is listed on the meager spec sheet that is on display alongside the electronic itself.

As it stands, interested end-users will have to wait until MSI deems it fitting to say what the price is, which will happen sometime between now and June 2011, when market availability is expected.
