Micro-Star International seems to be aiming big with its collection of P67 motherboards, as a certain report has uncovered the details and photos of a very big and resourceful XL-ATX motherboard.

MSI was the first company to create motherboards capable of combining the might of both AMD and NVIDIA graphics cards.

The company now has more than one such platform, all of them equipped with the mandatory Hydra SoC from LucidLogix.

Now, a report states that the outfit has put together a veritably huge Big Bang model, one that allegedly boasts a different type of LucidLogix HydraLogix chip.

The ones behind the report could not uncover much info on the chip, but they said that allowing different video cards to work in tandem is probably not its purpose.

Instead, the processor handles the large number of available PCI Express x16 slots, no less than eight to be exact.

Granted, MSI could not provide enough bandwidth for all eight slots and it did not use any nF200 chips either.

Basically, only a maximum of four slots can work at x16 at any given time, with all eight being able to work simultaneously at x8.

The rest of the mainboard's specifications are quite in line with its status as enthusiast-grade product, from the overall performance to its reliability.

MSI implemented two 8-pin power connectors, four SATA 3.0 Gbps ports, four SATA 6.0 Gbps ports, dual Gigabit Ethernet, 7.1 channel audio, eight USB 3.0 connectors, two eSATA and Military Class II components.

Other noteworthy elements are voltage read points, the OC Genie II one-button overclocking function, Power, Reset, Clear CMOS and OC buttons and three different BIOSes.

The product goes by the name of Big Bang Marshall and, since it uses the P67 chipset, will support Intel's Sandy bridge central processing units. Its price was not mentioned, but one can safely expect it to be massive.
