The company may have been a bit too enthusiastic this time

It's still a couple of hours before NVIDIA plans to formally launch the GeForce GTX 780 Ti graphics card, but Micro-Star International has already posted the press release introducing its model.

To be fair, MSI pulled the PR blurb immediately, but it wasn't fast enough. The net had already picked it up.

As one might have guessed, there's nothing special about the board. Well, nothing special compared to the reference card anyway. The GTX 780 Ti is still every bit the overpowered piece of hardware, better than GTX Titan and AMD Radeon R9 290X.

As implied in previous leaks, the price of the item is $699 / €699, which will win it points against Titan, but lose it quite a few against the R9 290X.

After all, the latter is just a bit behind but has a price of $550 / €550.
