MSI decided it was time to boost the appeal of two of its more outstanding, recently launched personal computers, namely the Wind Top AE2220 all-in-one and the Wind U135DX netbook. The means by which it will do this is a collaboration with the Los Angeles Dodgers, under which said systems will become available in special Dodgers editions, complete with the team's logo on the front and the lid, respectively. They will be part of a Limited Edition series and will show up in select La Curacao store locations as early as this month.

The Windows 7 Starter-loaded Wind U135DX was formally released not long ago and is powered by the Intel Atom N455 CPU, whose clock speed is of 1.66GHz. This chip is backed up by 1GB of DDR2 667MHz RAM, a 250GB hard drive and the Intel GMA 3150 Integrated graphics. MSI also made sure to throw in all the necessary connectivity and I/O options, such as LAN, 802.11 b/g/n WLAN, USB 2.0, a D-Sub output, a 1.3 megapixel webcam and a 6-cell battery. All these parts are crammed inside a chassis of 10.24 x 7.09 x 0.78 inches (the display measures 10 inches and has a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels).

The Wind Top AE2220 all-in-one runs on an Intel Core 2 Duo T6600 (2.2GHz) CPU, backed by 4GB RAM, and boasts the NVIDIA ION chipset. Is screen size is of 21.5 inches and the display itself supports 1920 x 1080 resolutions. Video capabilities are provided by the GeForce 9300 Integrated Graphics with 256MB VRAM. Other specifications include a 640GB HDD, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi, a Double-Layer Super DVD Multi and two 5W 5.1-channel SRS Surround speakers.

"We have had a chance to work with the new Wind Top All-in-One PCs here in the front office and they are absolutely amazing," said Dodgers VP, Steven Spartin. "The fans are going to love the ease of use, design and most of all the speed in which these new PCs operate."

MSI Co-founder Henry Lu will officially unveil the AiO alongside Dodgers' Casey Blake and Hung-Chih Kuo, and will also throw out the ceremonial first pitch on July 9 at Dodger Stadium.
