Yesterday we brought you details about the MSI Wind U270, one of the first notebooks to be based on the upcoming Brazos hardware platform, and today it’s time to introduce yet another MSI system built on top of an AMD Fusion chip, the Wind Top AE2050 that packs a Zacate E-350 APU.

Looking strikingly similar to all the other Wind Top AIOs that MSI has in its line-up, this PC is built using a 20-inch, 16:9 aspect ratio display and will be powered by AMD's soon to be released Zacate E-350 APU.

Clocked at 1.6GHz, the E-350 APU has dual out-of-order x86 cores built on a 40nm process technology, with a total of 1MB of L2 cache (512KB per core), and a DX11-capable GPU on the same die, making it one of the first Fusion chips to be released by AMD.

The integrated graphics processing unit is called the Radeon HD 6310, packs 80 cores and is clocked at 500MHz, the chip's power consumption being rated at 18W.

In addition to AMD's new APU, the AE2050 features two SuperSpeed USB 3.0 ports, four USB 2.0 ports, a pair of audio jacks, built-in Ethernet, an HDMI port, a multi-format memory card reader and an optical drive.

The system also sports a pair of SRS certified speakers and a webcam, MSI enabling users to configure the AE2050 with a touchscreen if they so desire.

As far as the rest of the setup is concerned, MSI wasn't so revealing, but the all-in-one will most certainly be available in various configurations.

Although not radically different from all the other MSI Wind Top AIOs that are already available, the AE2050 should prove to be a nice option for those users that want more performance than what an Atom system can muster, especially considering the low price of the AMD Brazos solutions.
