CloudOn, the solution that brings Microsoft Office to your iPad and links it to the cloud, has been updated with new notifications for emails sent with attachments or shared links.

Featuring a built-in Adobe Reader and File Viewer, CloudOn lets you open and view almost any kind of file. It facilitates emailing files to your contacts directly from the workspace, and lets you use Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint to create, review and edit documents on your Apple tablet.

You can also use it to manage documents with Box, Dropbox and Google Drive, and it saves documents on-the-fly to avoid losing changes.

CloudOn version 2.1.0 released earlier this week brings “notifications confirming an email with a file attachment or shared link has been sent,” according to CloudOn, Inc., the developers. CloudOn is compatible only with the iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later.
