Hey, fellows! Guess who's back in the gadgetry area? That's right! MPIO is back, hopefully for good. If you have trouble remembering the Korean company, you'd better drop it, as the company has kept a low-profile on things, as opposed to some giant countrymen like iRiver,
Cowon or others.

The good news is that they're back with a brand new PMP, which they eventually dubbed MG300. The company has made its re-entrance on the electronics market during IFA event, but it didn't create the expected stir. When it comes to the player's design line, there is nothing to drool about, just an awkward control scheme.

The ugly news is that the PMP kind of makes me think about a double-headed Zune... But, that's just my wacko mind! Who knows, maybe they've been secretly working with alien forces all the time they have been out of the field. However, what's really spooky about it is that they replaced a common and easy to handle D-pad navigation control with two of them. Ain't that an ugly view? Yes, it is!

And when it comes to analyzing the player's specs, there is an internal storage capacity of up to a maximum 8GB, plus the capability of boosting up via SDHC slot. On the outside, the PMP wears generous 2.4 inch screen display, with a resolution of about 320 x 240 pixels. It can deal with a bunch of popular file formats, such as MP3, WMA, APE and FLAC, as well as AVI for the video media content.

As expected, it does have some extra features for a cooler look, such as an integrated FM tuner, a voice recorder and a text viewer. What really gets my nerves it's their sudden intention of marketing the portable media players exclusively within Korean boundaries. That's all for the time being. No official price tag was released, yet!
