Motorola has announced they have upgraded their smart and beautifully looking MOTOMING handset, a smartphone powered by a Linux operating system and with super model looks.

Above all the things that made it the witted cellphone we all know about, they have now implemented EDGE support that will surely make it the answer to all the problems in your mobile life.

This is a phone that looks sharp and classy, a phone that will offer you a new look of what stylish means with the help of its transparent front window that will let you always see what is going on the large 2.4 inch QVGA TFT touchscreen display, working on a 240x320 pixels resolution.

The added EDGE technology support will guarantee every MOTOMING user high-speed downloads and the ability to synchronize their newly acquired Linux smartphone with their music collection.

The future users will also be able to play multimedia files on the built-in player, listen to music on their stereo Bluetooth enabled headset even when the phone is close due to its "play while closed" capability and store all the songs they want on the optional microSD memory expansion card that can go up to 2 GB.

This cellphone also features a 2 megapixel camera that will give the phone's owner the possibility to take vivid pictures and even shoot video clips taking advantage of the digital camera's camcorder capabilities.

The MING's spec sheet also mentions a high performance personal information manager, speaker independent voice dial, integrated FM radio, Real Player, instant messaging services, Motorola ClearTalk technology, email support through SMTP, POP3, IMAP4, CMCC Mail and last, but not least, the great versatility of its integrated Linux operating system.

The EDGE enabled MOTOMING is said to be available during the first quarter of 2007 but further info about the handset's price or region availability isn't yet available at the moment.
