In June, Motorola should launch a new smartphone on the market in China, the MOTO XT882, which is a triple-dual device: a dual-core, dual-mode, dual-standby Android device.

The new device was unveiled only a few weeks ago, and should hit the shelves in China on the airwaves of China Telecom, featuring a price tag of RMB 5,380, or bundled with various offerings from the wireless carrier.

The world’s first dual-core, dual-mode and dual-standby smartphone runs under Google's Android 2.3 Gingerbread operating system, and features an application processor with each of its two cores clocked in at 1GHz.

Moreover, the new device would include a wide range of uniquely Chinese features, like a smart dialer, a business card scanner and contact manager.

The new MOTO XT882 should be able to provide users with the ultimate browsing and multi-media experience while on the go,

The smartphone features an appealing design, along with CDMA EV-DO/GSM dual-mode dual-standby. It will be released on shelves in China in two color flavors.

The specs list of this device shows an 8 megapixel camera with a built-in LED flash on the back, complemented by a front camera for video calling. The phone includes HD 1080p video capture and playback capabilities.

It also sports a 4-inch touchscreen display, as well as 8GB of internal memory, complemented by a microSD memory card slot with support for up to 32GB of additional storage space.

The handset  comes with aGPS, email capabilities (POP3/IMAP4/Exchange), Flash 10.2, 3D gaming, MOTOBLUR, Quickoffice, support for the wireless carrier's services, and a 1880 mAh battery with specific power management features.
