MOOG, an American musical instruments manufacturer, has just released a new firmware update for the Sub Phatty synthesizer. Version 2.0 makes a lot of changes to the device, and fixes and corrects various issues or inconveniences.

From the list of additions, it is worth mentioning the new support for MIDI scale/octave tuning, panic/all-notes-off function and "output all parameter values as MIDI C C" using NRPN 0, value 127 feature.

Fixes and corrections include Mixer Level controls changed from linear to audio taper, for less overdrive at lower settings, a wider center detent on the Fine Tune knob, fixes for the integer truncation error in "velocity to eg time" parameters as well as improvements for the relative pot mode.
