Never again shall you have to stare numbly at unhelpful diagrams

IKEA furniture is really useful and convenient, since it's easy to transport because it can be stored as thin packs of boards.

Normally, buyers need to take out the various slabs and screw them together.

Researchers from the MIT decided it was too troublesome though, so they made a robot to do it instead.

The robot was shown at the 2013 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Automation (ICRA) by a team from MIT’s Distributed Robotics Laboratory.

The video above demonstrates its ability to put together a LACK IKEA table. There's a specialized griper hand and everything.

In fact, the IKEABot, as the invention is called, is actually a pair of KUKA YouBots working together.

The 2:10 and 3:00 minute marks are the most relevant, for those who feel that 7:15 minutes are too much of a waste of their time.
