14 DAY TRIAL // After skipping the sixth update, MINIX recently launched firmware version 20131111 (also known as 007) for its NEO X7 smart media hub. This release improves video playback quality, updates the MINIX launcher, Bluetooth, and USB device IDs, and removes the Chrome browser and Google search bar.
Beside the changes mentioned above, 1080p video overlay self-detection is applied, NFS and 720p H.265 playback support is added, and the latest AirPin(PRO), AirDroid and CloudTV apps are preloaded.

To update, use the RKBatchTool from the “Flash Tool” folder in the update package. Use the “Restore” mode for the installation procedure.
The whole setup will take around seven minutes: three to flash from PC and four to recover after restoring. During this time, please do not turn off your device or unplug it. The installation is complete when the Android OS home screen is displayed.
