14 DAY TRIAL // MINIX has just launched Firmware 20130813 (version 003) for their NEO X7 smart media hub. This release brings an updated Android 4.2.2 and a handful of fixes.
To begin with, "contacts.apk" was added in order to fix the "android.process.acore" service stop bug and a modified Ethernet driver has been introduced in order to enhance system stability.
The “Vsync” issue has been taken care of as well as the "Blank Internal Flash" bug caused by redundant keyboard codes.
"0%" battery status and "No Internet Connection" when connected to the Internet by LAN have been removed for a simpler, cleaner look.
It is now available to auto-hide the system bar through some display settings and manage the preferences of the screenshots, under the same menu.
Finally, the first start-up Android welcome screen has been removed, again, for a cleaner, simpler look.
