MINIX, an open-source operating system designed to be highly reliable, flexible, and secure, loosely based somewhat on previous versions of MINIX, is now at version 3.2.0.

As usual, changes in the MINIX 3 distributions are quite consistent and the new version, 3.2.0, follows the same path:

· Clang is now the default compiler, but GCC is also supported; · NetBSD C library was added; · Asynchronous, multithreaded virtual filesystem (VFS) server is now available; · FUSE support (GSOC project by Evgeniy Ivanov) was introduced; · NetBSD bootloader added; · Multithreading and NCQ support in the AHCI driver support; · New NetBSD userland utilities (part of them as a GSOC project by Vivek Prakash) were added; · libvassert, to enable easier support for VMWare Vassert, was added; · New VirtualBox time sync driver is now available; · The MINIX project now uses Git as its version-control system.

A complete changelog can be found in the official announcement.
