A lightweight derivative of MEPIS!

The lightweight derivative of MEPIS, AntiX 7.0 RC1 was announced last night by the hard working team behind this project. This version comes with an improved look, including the wallpaper, all the reported bugs have been fixed and all the packages have been updated to be in sync with MEPIS 7.0 Beta 4 release.

MEPIS AntiX was created to work on very old computers. It is developed and maintained by the people behind the MEPIS community, as a free version of MEPIS for very old 32-bit machines, such as a Pentium II with 64 MB RAM.

■ Runs from Live CD before you install; ■ Automatically configures itself to your PC hardware; ■ Boot the MEPIS CD and, in about one minute, you can be using Linux.
