One of India's most successful handset manufacturers, MAXX Mobile has just announced three new entry-level mobile phones, the MAXX Hexa (MX155), MAXX Rave (MX182) and MAXX Buzz (MX188).

Although none of the three handsets stand out when it comes to hardware, it seems that the manufacturer found something interesting that worths mentioning.

All three phones feature high-capacity batteries that can prolong the phone's autonomy up to 650 hours in standby mode.

In a vast country like India, people spend many hours using their mobile phones but seldom find time to continuously charge it. Anticipating the need for longer battery life, we created three such handsets. Now, even in places where consumers face discontinued electrical supply, they can enjoy the benefits of extended talk-time and standby time,” said Ajjay Agarwal, Chairman & Managing Director, MAXX Group.

The MAXX Hexa is delivered with a 1800mAh battery that should provide up to 6.5 hours of talk-time or up to 600 hours of standby time.

The phone is dual-SIM and comes with FM radio, audio/video player, sound recorder, Bluetooth data connectivity and microSD card for memory expansion (up to 2GB). The phone is priced at Rs. 1,580 (about $35).

The MAXX Rave features a standard bar form factor phone and is dual-SIM, as well. It embeds an 1900 mAh battery that should provide up to 6.5 hours of talk-time or up to 650 hours of standby time.

Some of the highlights of the Rave include: a 1.3-megapixel photo snapper, dual torch, dual SIM/dual standby, MP3/3GPP/MP4 player, video recorder, E-book reader and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 4GB).

In addition, the phone is delivered with 20mm speakers and is priced at Rs. 1,888 (about $42).

The MAXX Buzz has a 1800 mAh battery that should provides up to 6.5 hours of talk time or upt to 600 hours of standby time.

Just like the other two handsets, the Buzz is dual-SIM/dual standby. It comes with a 1.3-megapixel camera FM radio, MP3/MP4 player, and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 4GB).

The phone is available for purchase for only Rs. 2,068 (about $46).
