The development team at Capcom working on Street Fighter V is ready to reveal that the upcoming fighting game will include M. Bison, a series regular, as one of the playable characters, with an entirely new play style that will challenge even long-term fans of the character to adapt.

The reveal trailer for IGN shows the familiar look of the combatant known as the Dictator, with only small tweaks to his presentation.

But when attacking an enemy using his punches, he now uses psychic energy, although its effects have not been revealed by the team working on Street Fighter V.

The slide that M. Bison has always used is also present but seems designed to open up new gameplay opportunities for a player who is on the offensive.

The character can now also deflect incoming energy projectiles, which can make him a much better choice when playing those enemies who tend to use them to control a fight.

The Psycho Crusher seems to be one of the special Ultra moves for the M. Bison character in Street Fighter V, which might be a problem for some players.

Capcom has not offered a full breakdown of the moves and skills that the characters will use in the fighting game, but it will probably do so in the coming months.

Street Fighter V will be based on the Unreal Engine 4

The new fighting game was revealed in late 2014, but Capcom has not offered any clear information about the ways it plans to push the story of the series forward.

So far, the publisher is focused on the reveal of the included characters, all of which seem to have been tweaked when compared to their previous incarnations.

The title will be created using the Unreal Engine 4, and Capcom has promised that it will be smoother and more beautiful than any other entry in the franchise.

Street Fighter V is set to be launched on the PlayStation 4 from Sony and the PC in April of 2016, and cross-platform play will be offered.

Capcom has said that it plans to offer a beta testing period in order to see how the community reacts to some of the new mechanics, but it has not offered any details about it.

Rumors are saying that those who pre-order will be able to play at some point during the autumn.
