Lytro is a small camera capable of capturing the entire light field only to allow you to change the focus of any image after it has been captured.

Lytro offers its users a proprietary desktop software for either Windows or Mac systems, that allows you to edit pictures took with the Lytro camera.

Today, Lytro Desktop has received a new update, version 3.1.0, that comes with a few notable improvements over the previous one.

First of all, the new version comes with 3D support (either in Anaglyph or side-by-side) that allows you to view your Lytro pictures in 3D. Support for two new image formats (.jpgs All-in-focus and Red/Cyan 3D, and Full Color 3D .jps) are also added to this version.

Furthermore, Lytro has received a new UI for MacOS that complies with OS X standards. Check out below if you want to read the full changelog for Lytro Desktop 3.1.0.
