One of the applications that owners of Nokia Lumia devices have at their disposal for the management of a smartphone’s internal memory is Lumia storage check, currently up for grabs through the Windows Phone Store as well, though still in a beta flavor.

The application, available for download as version 1.0.0, provides users with the possibility to keep their maps on SD cards, which should increase the amount of internal storage available on their handsets.

Furthermore, the application now offers support for landscape UI, and comes with additional instrumentation to catch error conditions better.

“Get this app to visualize the use of phone storage and to free up space by clearing some temporary files. Note that this is a beta version of the application,” Nokia notes in app’s description. The software was initially released through the Nokia Beta Labs website.
