Lumia Cyan, the software update that brings the Windows Phone 8.1 operating system to the owners of Nokia Lumia devices out there, is now available for even more Nokia Lumia 1520 handsets out there.

To be more precise, Microsoft has started to deliver the operating system upgrade to additional markets, at least this is what a recent post on WPCentral reveals.

Apparently, users in South Africa, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, Poland, Brazil, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen are now seeing the update as available for the country variants of Lumia 1520.

On top of that, Lumia Cyan also started arriving on more carrier-branded Lumia 1520 models, such as those in Germany – Vodafone, Italy – TIM and Vodafone, and UK – Vodafone.

The update will provide users with all the features included in Windows Phone 8.1, as well as with some additional enhancements, which are exclusive to Lumia devices.

One thing that should be mentioned is the fact that those of you who installed Windows Phone 8.1 Developer Preview will have to wait a bit longer for the update to arrive (unless you are willing to downgrade to Windows Phone 8). However, the software will be released for you as well.
