Soon after its official unveiling back in April, the Nokia Lumia 930 smartphone was listed on Nokia’s website in India as coming soon, but it seems that the company has decided to remove said webpage.

Nokia’s Devices and Services division was acquired by Microsoft back in May, and the decision to remove the listing comes from the Redmond-based giant, yet no explanation for it has been provided.

India is one of the largest Windows Phone markets out there, though users here are mainly interested in the purchase of cheaper handsets, such as the Lumia 520, which is one of the most popular smartphones in the country.

Even so, it comes as a surprise that the Lumia 930 is not yet available in the territory, as WMPoweruser notes. Moreover, chances are that it might not arrive on shelves in this market anytime soon.

Over the past few months, local vendors have started to launch their own Windows Phone 8.1-based handsets, which should start launching soon, thus providing users with some more options when it comes to grabbing a device running under this OS.

Hopefully, Nokia Lumia 930 will also become available in India sooner rather than later, so keep an eye on this space for additional info on the matter.
