Finnish mobile phone maker Nokia has been long rumored to plan the launch of a new high-end Windows Phone 8 smartphone in the popular Lumia lineup, one that would hit shelves as Verizon’s flavor of the Lumia 920, but with a different form factor, as can be seen in the video below.

Coming from etradesupply, it shows the screen of Lumia 928 next to that of Lumia 920, so that users could have a better understanding of the differences between the two.

According to rumors, Nokia will use a Super AMOLED screen for the Lumia 928, instead of the IPS LCD display that was present on the Lumia 920, and will also make the handset taller.

However, the size of the screen will remain at 4.5-inch, and the resolution is expected to stay the same, although no specific info on the matter has been provided as of now.

Photos with the screen, however, did show that other cosmetic changes would be present on the device’s front, and the video below appears set to confirm them.

Thus, users will see new placements for the speaker, camera, and microphone on Lumia 928’s front, just as gottabemobile explains in a recent post.

At the top of the screen, you can also see the Verizon logo to the right, with Nokia’s emblem placed to the left, with the speaker and camera above them.

At the bottom of the phone’s front, there are the touch buttons, with the microphone placed below them in the middle, unlike on Lumia 920, where it was on the side.

The hardware specifications of the smartphone, however, are expected to remain unchanged when compared to those of Nokia Lumia 920, it seems, apart maybe from the inclusion of Xenon flash on the back.

Hopefully, more details on the smartphone will emerge in the not too distant future, so stay tuned to learn additional info on it.
