Nokia’s Lumia 920 smartphone is expected to become available for purchase on the network of China Telecom as well, after being launched in the country at China Mobile next month.

The handset will arrive in the local market as Lumia 920T, with support for the TD-SCDMA and TD-LTE networks that China Mobile operates, and will be exclusive to this carrier for several months.

However, it seems that China Telecom is also planning on adding the device to its offering as soon as the exclusivity period ends at the country’s largest wireless carrier, GSMInsider reports.

No specific in on when the second Chinese operator will launch Nokia’s Windows Phone 8 handset has been provided as of yet, nor was the rumor officially confirmed, but a formal announcement could emerge soon, so stay tuned for more on this.
