The new Windows Phone 8 devices are selling very well, it seems

Devices running under Microsoft’s new Windows Phone 8 operating system are selling like hot cakes, the latest news on the matter suggest.

Nokia’s Lumia 920 smartphone has seen great response from end users ever since it was put up for pre-order, both in the United States and elsewhere, and HTC’s Windows Phone 8X smartphone appears to be sharing a similar fate.

At the moment, both devices are said to be out of stock at various Microsoft Stores, supposedly a proof of their great popularity among end users.

"Out of Stock: Nokia 920 and HTC 8X. Taking orders inside," a sheet of paper posted on the door of one Microsoft Store reads, just as the photo shared by Microsoft’s Ben Rudolph shows.

Nokia’s Lumia 920 is available in the US only at AT&T, but the Windows Phone 8X is set to arrive at other carriers as well, including T-Mobile and Verizon.
