Starting with November 4th, wireless carrier AT&T will provide its customers with the possibility to purchase the newly announced Lumia 920, exclusively on its network.

This is the same release date that has been rumored a few times before for the device, which now appears to have been confirmed.

The operator did not make an official announcement on the matter, yet the guys over at WPCentral cite a source from AT&T who has confirmed that the launch date is indeed accurate.

Previously, Lumia 920 at AT&T has been tied to an October 21st date, and it appears that the info was somehow accurate, as the carrier is set to unveil details on the pricing and availability of the device on that day.

Moreover, said source unveiled that the smartphone might be going on pre-order at AT&T on October 26th, only three days before Microsoft holds the official Windows Phone 8 launch event.

In fact, the Redmond-based software giant has already sent out invitations to an October 29th event in San Francisco, where the new OS is expected to be detailed in the full.

Provided that AT&T will indeed have the new mobile phone on pre-order, chances are that users will receive it on November 2nd, the same as those who pre-ordered the Nokia Lumia 900 did, WPCentral notes.

When made available for purchase, Nokia’s Lumia 920 will present users with a wide range of color versions, including yellow, red, white and black, along with the newly unveiled cyan flavor.

The handset will also provide users with a great viewing experience on its 4.5-inch PureMotion HD+ touchscreen display, as well as with increased performance capabilities courtesy of its 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor.

Moreover, Lumia 920 comes with an 8-megapixel PureView photo snapper on the back, with full HD video recording capabilities and Optical Image Stabilization (OIS), sports a front camera for making video calls, and also features support for the wireless carrier’s 4G LTE network.
