Canadian wireless carrier Rogers has just gone live with the pre-orders for Nokia’s third smartphone powered by the Windows Phone operating system, namely Lumia 900.

Today, mobile phone users in Canada can head over to the wireless carrier’s website and pre-order one Lumia 900 for when the device becomes available for purchase.

The smartphone will provide users with great connectivity capabilities when released, courtesy of support for the wireless carrier’s LTE network.

Lumia 900 is the first Windows Phone smartphone from Nokia to sport LTE connectivity, and is also the current flagship device from the company.

“Rogers is pleased to announce an amazing addition to our lineup of smartphones: the Nokia Lumia 900,” the wireless carrier notes on its website.

The specifications list of Nokia Lumia 900 also includes a 1.4 GHz application processor, along with 512MB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory.

The mobile phone hits shelves with a 4.3" AMOLED ClearBlack touchscreen display with Corning Gorilla Glass, as well as with an 8-megapixel photo snapper on the back, with support for HD video recording.

The new device also packs Nokia Drive, which provides users with voice-guided, turn-by-turn navigation, as well as with support for other services and applications coming from Nokia and Microsoft.

It also arrives with XBOX LIVE and Microsoft Office integration, as well as with the live tiles that deliver instant updates to the homescreen.

At Rogers, the new mobile phone comes with a small treat for all those who pre-order or reserve the device.

Rogers promises a private screening of The Dark Knight Rises for one of its users reserving the smartphone, as well as for their family and friends.

“Pre-order or reserve yours today and be entered for a chance to win a private screening of The Dark Knight Rises — in theatres July 20th,” the company continues.

Additionally, there are 5 Special Edition The Dark Night Rises Nokia Lumia 900 smartphones on their way to runner-ups, with Nokia Purity HD Stereo Headsets by Monster included into the mix.
