Nokia Lumia 800, the first Windows Phone handset to come out of Finnish handset vendor’s gates, is now available in the UK for free on the £15.50 per month from Orange.

The Carphone Warehouse has just announced the phone’s availability on this monthly plan, adding that the offer would end on May 31st.

In addition to getting a free Lumia 800 device, those users who head over to the retailer’s website to benefit from the deal will also receive free Monster headphones.

The Orange Panther £15.50 plan will offer 50 minutes Anytime Any network, unlimited texts, and 250 MB of monthly Data.

The offer applies to the black version of the Windows Phone, which is listed at The Carphone Warehouse as being in stock now.

“The Nokia Lumia 800 is a stunning smartphone with an iconic look. The curved 3.7" touchscreen includes Clear Black screen technology, cutting glare and keeping the screen easy to see even in bright sunshine,” the retailer notes.

“The 8MP Carl Zeiss lens camera is ideal for quality pictures on the go, while Windows® Phone 7.5 and a speedy 1.4GHz Snapdragon S2 processor keep everything super-fast.”

Nokia Lumia 800 comes with integrated Facebook, Twitter and LinkedIn social networks, so that users can always stay on top of what their friends and family are doing.

Moreover, the handset enables users to remain productive on the go, through integrated Microsoft Office Mobile (Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents can be easily viewed or edited on the handset).

“With improved functionality you now have more control, making it the next best thing to being at the office PC. And with the ability to sync with SkyDrive and add multiple Exchange accounts, you'll always be able to view and share the information you need,” the retailer continues.

As stated above, the Lumia 800 also packs free Monster headphones worth £199. Moreover, users will get £40 worth of apps, also available for free when purchasing a new Windows Phone from Nokia.
